Computer repair in Tigard, Oregon

I know Tigard well — it is close to home for me, which in practice means short notice is easier here than almost anywhere else in the metro.

A good share of my Tigard visits are instruction rather than repair. Summerfield and King City in particular have a lot of retirees, and the calls that come from there are usually not "this is broken" but "this changed and I do not understand it any more." An operating system update moved everything. Photos are somewhere, but nobody is sure where. Email started asking for a password that used to work.

Those are the visits I most want to be doing. They are also the ones where the industry has behaved worst — plenty of people arrive at me having already been made to feel stupid by someone who was in a hurry. I am not in a hurry, and there is no such thing as a question here that is too basic.

The other Tigard staple is scam pressure. Older households get targeted heavily with fake virus warnings, fake Microsoft calls, and fake renewal invoices.
